Every now and then you just have to jump out and do something a little different to break the routine. So today was our first Freaky Friday. Freaky Fridays are dedicated to special dress or special activities - something to look forward to every few weeks.
We doubled up on the fun by having today be our first Open House also. My oldest student, Dakota, was sick today. We missed her, prayed she would feel much better soon, and were sorry she missed out on our Fancy Nancy Day. But we will have more Freaky Fridays!
Kate and Julia, my first graders in their fancy dresses.
Hope and Lucy - so pretty in pink!
Lucy showing her work to her mom, Melody Mosley. Little sister was tired.
Julia with her mom, Trena Ivy, and little sister, Josie.
Kate and Hope with their mom, Rebekah Sammons. Dad came a little later.
The girls were so excited to be all dressed up fancy and to have parents and visitors come see their classroom and work. Another amazing day of blessings all around. Love these girls so much as well as their families. God fills my days with the pleasure of being in His service here and now.
