A new team arrived today. They will be spending the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the baby house for the next few days. The team leaders were here last year before I left. They were here the night a new baby was brought to the baby house. The tiny little boy was then named after the one team leader. The first picture was taken with the two team leaders the morning after the little one had arrived. The second picture was taken this morning. What a difference a year of good care and lots of love makes in the life of these tiny children. God's provision for them in this place is seen and felt daily.
I took a few more random pictures while I sat outside between school time and going to the girl's ballet class. My favorite part is watching the aunties with the babies and toddlers. The bond between them is wonderful. They are truly a family bound together by God's love. The babies and a few of the toddlers are quite happy to be held, played with, or fed by anyone - but the all return to the aunties in the end. There they are secure and protected.
