What's Cookin'?

Food and good company just seem to go together - and it is even better when someone else has done the preparations. 

Going out for lunch after church on Sundays is a bit of a tradition for Trena and I.  Sometimes we gather more into the group.  On my second Sunday here we went out to celebrate the newest members of a family from the church.  They had chosen to add three children to their family.  We went to Midland for dinner.  They make good chicken.

Trena and Ani cooked one night and we had a movie night with the girls.  We took selfies together too.

 Josie loves to take pictures with my phone, and anyone else's she can get in her hands. 

One night we went over to have dinner with friends, enjoy the garden, and of course we invited the hedgehog and tortoise.

 Yes, he is sitting on the table, but we were finished with our dinners. 

One of the missionaries came and made lasagna at the baby house and shared with all of us.  The girls came dressed for this event. 

Blessings abound every day - old relationships renewed, new ones made, meals shared together - "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man who trusts in Him."  Psalm 34:8
